  • Aneurysm - a bulge or "ballooning" in the wall of an artery

  • Atherosclerosis - a disease in which plaque builds up inside your arteries. Plaque is made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium, and other substances found in the blood.

Vascular testing options

  • Carotid Duplex

    Non-invasive ultrasound to assess the blood flow within the carotid arteries. Carotid artery disease can lead to a stroke

  • Abdominal Duplex

    Non-invasive ultrasound to assess blood flow in the abdominal aorta to assess for aneurysm.

  • Arterial Brachial Index (ABI)

    Non-invasive test that measures the blood flow in the lower extremities. This test providers information about blockages in the leg arteries.

  • Arterial Duplex

    Non-invasive ultrasound to assess the blood flow within the peripheral arteries. Blockages in the peripheral arteries can lead to pain, ulcers, poor wound healing, and limb amputation.

  • Venous Duplex

    Non-invasive ultrasound to assess the blood flow within in veins in the body. This test is used to look for blood clots called deep vein thrombosis

  • venous reflux study

    Non-invasive ultrasound to assess the blood flow within the veins in the legs. This test is looking for retrograde blood flow in the veins in the legs that leads to varicose veins, spider veins, swelling, and pain.

  • Renal Duplex

    Non-invasive ultrasound to assess blood flow in the kidneys. Blockage in the kidney arteries is called renal artery stenosis and can lead to kidney failure and uncontrolled blood pressure
